


Stamp series
Inktober is an online drawing challenge, where you draw most days, or every day in the month of October, following a theme along. There are prompts every year, but I created my own.
I have always loved stamps and so I made 19 stamps following a different theme for them, in sets. I made these digitally, using Procreate.
India Series
Stamp 1-5
The first series, the India Series, is based on India's wildlife and culture.

Mental Health
Awareness Week
Stamp 6-10
The second series was created during Mental Health Awareness Week in 2020. I followed the theme created by the Mental Health Foundation (UK): Kindness.
I wondered (selfishly) what benefits the person who performs kindness will receive and researched the effects on an individual being kind, for this series.
Stamp 6: Kindness reduces anxiety.
Stamp 7: Kindness increases longevity.
Stamp 8: Kindness improves self-worth.
Stamp 9: Kindness creates a sense of
belonging + reduces isolation.
Stamp 10: Kindness increases serotonin levels.








Stamp 6-10
Iran Series
Stamp 11-13
The next series is based on Iran and its
wildlife and culture.
Stamp 11: Persian Fallow Deer. This is an endangered deer species only occurring in Iran and Israel.
Stamp 12: Asiatic Cheetah aka Iranian Cheetah. This species is critically endangered, they survive today only in Iran.
Stamp 13: Autumn Crocus or Saffron Crocus. This plant produces the spice saffron, taken from the filaments of the blooms.







Portugal Series
Stamp 14-16
This series is based on wildlife and
culture of Portugal.
Stamp 14: Spanish Lavender
Stamp 15: Garrano Horse. This is an endangered breed of Portugal horses, only 2000 left (in 2020)
Stamp 16: Iberian Wolf
