tarot cards

Tarot cards originated in the 15th century as a playing card game for the nobility. Over the centuries, several decks have been reimagined by various artists to excavate different multi-layered approaches to an esoteric practice. This deck is an ongoing project created by Sanjoli that attempts to weave surrealism and existentialism along with the existing mythologies.
