Tarot cards originated in the 15th century as a playing card game for the nobility. Over the centuries, several decks have been reimagined by various artists to excavate different multi-layered approaches to an esoteric practice. This deck is an ongoing project created by Sanjoli that attempts to weave surrealism and existentialism along with the existing mythologies.

3 The Emperess
Abundance, nature, beauty, bounty, power. Her crown is 12 gleaming stars, representing her connection to the celestial realm.

4 The Emperor
Authority, establishment, structured control. In astrology, he is linked to Aries, a cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars, emphasising his fiery but strategic power.

5 The Heirophant
This card represents a trusted advisor, a keeper of traditional values and wisdom. The 2 keys signify the balance between the conscious & the subconscious
